ARMS’ vision began in 1994 when Pastor Glenn Kennedy led a small team of doctors, dentists, pastors, and support personnel on a mission trip to the Philippines. With the needs of the poor apparent and the local churches lacking resources to reach them, our goal has been to provide support to the local churches in order for those needs to be met. From the beginning, we have treated the sick, provided free dental care, assisted in planting churches and shared the Gospel in over 50 communities throughout the Philippine Islands.

ARMS Founder and President – Pastor Glenn Kennedy

Vision:

“Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’” (Matthew 28:18-20)

Our Mandate:

Our mandate is to make Jesus known throughout Asia. We accomplish this by providing free medical and dental care clinics in a region where 95% of the world’s unreached people live and only 2% of Christian workers serve.

ARMS’ goal is to expand and reach out to other Asian nations by conducting 6 outreaches annually and touching the lives of those in need both physically and spiritually.

“If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with our actions and in truth.” (1 John 3:17-18)

ARMS Objectives:

• To provide medical and dental care for the impoverished by recruiting volunteer doctors, nurses, medical technicians, and lay people from churches globally to provide free medical and dental services.

• To assist local pastors and community leaders in building their churches through evangelistic contact with un-reached people using free medical and dental service as an attraction.

• To witness people from the US, Japan, The Philippines, as well as other nations around the world in exercising good will to people in need.

• To afford individuals opportunities to experience and possibly discover a missionary call on their lives.
